I reached the area very early in the morning, at around 5:30 AM, because I thought arriving early would help me get through the process quickly.

But there was already a long line.

Based on my experience, late morning or around midday appeared to be less crowded.

However, don’t rely only on this personal experience. Office timings, queues and appointment arrangements can change, so check the latest official information before planning your visit.

Before going to the consulate, make sure you have your important documents ready.

For an adult passport renewal, DGI&P lists documents including the following:

How Long Does Pakistani Passport Renewal Take in Dubai?

This is probably the question most people want answered.

According to the personal experience shared in the video:

• The normal passport arrived in approximately 17–18 days
• The urgent passport arrived in approximately 14 days

So, in that particular experience, the urgent service saved only a few days.

However, you should not assume that your passport will arrive in exactly the same number of days.

Processing time can vary depending on application verification, workload, printing, dispatch, holidays and other factors.

DGI&P’s official processing information for passport offices in Pakistan should also not automatically be treated as the processing time for a passport application submitted at a foreign mission.

If your passport is being delivered, make sure the phone number and address you provide are correct.

In the experience described in the video, the delivery rider contacted the applicant when the passport was ready.
