How do you create an Absher account? Yes, friends! In this video, I am going to show you a very easy method that you can follow to create your Absher account using your mobile phone.

You don’t necessarily need to visit an office just to complete the online registration process. You can complete the registration and digital identity activation process from your mobile using the Absher and Nafath services.

So, without wasting any time, let’s start the video and see exactly how the process works.

How to Create an Absher Account

As you can see, we are now on the mobile phone screen. The first thing you need to do is open your browser and search for the official Absher website.

Make sure you are using the official Saudi government website and not a third-party website.

Once you open the website, you will see the Absher login page. If you don’t already have an account, click on “New User”.

A new registration page will appear. Scroll slightly upward or downward as required and start entering your information.

Enter Your Iqama or ID Information

Here, you need to enter your Iqama number or the relevant identification number requested by Absher.

If you are new to Saudi Arabia and your Iqama has not been issued yet, the available registration option may depend on your status and the information accepted by Absher. Always follow the identification details shown on the official registration page.

The official Absher documentation explains that users need to enter their ID or residence ID number during registration and should use their own mobile number.

Enter Your Mobile Number and Email Address

Next, enter your mobile number and email address.

Make sure that the mobile number you enter is correct because you will receive an OTP verification code during the registration process.

After entering your information, continue to the username section.

Create Your Absher Username

Now you will see an option to create your username.

Create a username according to the requirements shown on the Absher registration page. You may need to use a combination of uppercase letters, lowercase letters and numbers, depending on the requirements displayed on your screen.

When you enter the information correctly, the requirements displayed underneath the username field should turn green or show that the requirements have been completed.

Create Your Absher Password

Next, you need to create your password.

Follow the password requirements shown on the page. Your password may require a combination of uppercase letters, lowercase letters and numbers.

After creating your password, enter the same password again in the confirmation field.

If everything is correct, the password requirements should be accepted by the system.

Select Your Language and Complete the Captcha

Now select English as your preferred language if you want to use Absher in English.

After that, enter the captcha code exactly as it appears on your screen.

Read and accept the Terms and Conditions, then click Next.

Verify Your Mobile Number With OTP

After submitting the registration form, an OTP verification code will be sent to your registered mobile number.

Enter the OTP and click on the registration or confirmation option.

At this point, your Absher registration process will be created. However, your work may not be completely finished yet because you may still need to complete the required digital identity activation.

Activate Your Absher Digital Identity Using Nafath

This is where the Nafath application comes in.

You can download the official Nafath application from the relevant app store and use it for digital identity verification.

Nafath is Saudi Arabia’s national digital identity platform and provides secure identity verification and biometric services.

Open the Nafath App

Once you have installed Nafath, open the application.

The app may ask for certain permissions. Allow the permissions required for the identity verification process.

Select English as your preferred language if required.

Once the setup is complete, you will see the Nafath interface.

Go to Digital Identity

On the Nafath application, look for the Digital Identity option and tap on it.

You will then see different options related to your digital identity. Select the option for Digital Identity Activation or the corresponding Absher digital identity activation service shown in your current version of the app.

The official Absher instructions confirm that Nafath can be used to activate the digital identity originating from Absher.

Enter Your Absher Details

Now enter your Iqama/ID number and the Absher password that you created earlier.

After entering the details, tap Next.

An OTP verification code will then be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP to continue.

Complete Identity Verification

After OTP verification, you may be asked to provide additional information, such as your date of birth, exactly as it appears on your official identification document.

Enter the required information and tap Next.

The next stage is biometric identity verification.

Follow the instructions shown inside the Nafath application and complete the biometric verification process. Depending on the current app version and verification flow, the app may use biometric verification such as facial or other supported biometric checks.

The official Nafath documentation confirms that the application supports biometric identity verification, while Absher’s official guide explains the digital identity activation process through Nafath.

Complete the Nafath Verification

Follow the instructions on your mobile screen carefully and keep your face or required biometric feature within the camera frame if the application asks you to do so.

Once your identity has been successfully verified, the verification process will be completed.

Tap Finish when the process is complete.

At this point, your digital identity activation should be completed if all the information and verification requirements have been successfully accepted.

Log In to Absher Again

Now go back to your mobile browser and open the official Absher website again.

Click on the Login option and enter the username and password you created earlier.

Complete any OTP or additional verification requested by the system.

After logging in, you should see your Absher account information and dashboard.

You may be asked to confirm or enter your email address. Enter your email address carefully and confirm it when requested.

Your Absher Account Is Ready

Once all the required information has been completed and your identity has been activated, your Absher account is ready to use.

Absher is the Saudi Ministry of Interior’s digital platform for citizens, residents and visitors and provides access to a wide range of government services.

How to Log In to the Absher App

Now you can also download the official Absher application from your mobile app store.

Open the application and select the Login option.

Enter the username and password you created during registration.

Complete the OTP or authentication step if requested.

Once you successfully log in, your Absher account information and available services should appear on your screen.
